Business Expo and Procurement Forum Connects Suppliers to Public Sector Opportunities

CANADA, October 7 - Released on October 7, 2026

The Government of Saskatchewan will host the 2026 Business Expo and Procurement Forum at the Conexus Arts Centre in Regina on October 22, 2026, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The forum gives businesses, vendors and suppliers a chance to connect with the public sector, including executive government and Crown corporations, along with municipalities, post-secondary institutions, school divisions and health-care organizations.

"The Business Expo and Procurement Forum is a great opportunity for suppliers to learn directly from public-sector organizations about upcoming projects, priorities and procurement needs," SaskBuilds and Procurement Minister Sean Wilson said. "By attending, businesses can make valuable connections, gain a better understanding of government procurement processes and position themselves to compete for future opportunities."

The annual event typically attracts 250 to 300 attendees and continues to grow. Tickets are available through the Conexus Arts Centre box office or website.

A speaker stands at a lectern beside presentation screens and autumn-coloured decorations. Black curtains surround the stage, while an exposed industrial ceiling overhead contains rows of lights, rigging and ceiling fans.

"Successful bids start with understanding your customer," Chief Procurement Officer Karen Cossitt said. "The forum provides suppliers with direct access to decision-makers, practical information about bidding on public sector contracts and insight into future opportunities. Whether you're new to public procurement or an experienced supplier, there is valuable information and networking available throughout the day."

Government of Saskatchewan employees will be present to speak with attendees during a full day of educational sessions, discussion panels and presentations.

This forum is held annually in partnership between the Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement and the Ministry of Trade and Export Development, alternating between Saskatoon and Regina.
