Eagle Cloud Closes B+ Round to Accelerate Enterprise Security Governance Infrastructure for the AI Agent Era
Round backed by MTR Lab and Northern Light Venture Capital comes four months after Eagle Cloud's Series B
Whatever comes next, from cross-organisation agents to physical AI, it will need governance to match. Our vision is for every organisation run by people and AI to be built on verifiable trust.”
HONG KONG, HONG KONG, September 17, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Eagle Cloud, a provider of AI security governance infrastructure, has closed a Series B+ funding round of close to RMB 100 million (approximately USD 14 million), four months after completing its Series B. The round was co-invested by MTR Lab and Northern Light Venture Capital, with Voyagers Partners acting as financial advisor.— Hu Min, Co-Founder and CEO of Eagle Cloud.
The company said the funding will be used to extend its governance infrastructure to AI agents and other forms of autonomous action inside the enterprise, and to accelerate international expansion through a larger overseas team and stronger local delivery capability.
As enterprise AI shifts from answering questions to acting as agents that carry out tasks independently, Eagle Cloud said organisations face new questions: what an agent is permitted to do, which resources it can access, when it should be stopped, and who is accountable if something goes wrong.
The company addresses this through Yunshu, its proprietary platform for governing human and AI actors under a single system. Its Yunshu AIDR (AI Detection and Response) module manages each agent from creation to retirement in five stages. Discover identifies agents across the enterprise, including "shadow AI" tools adopted without IT approval. Define sets an execution contract for each agent type covering its objectives, permissions, validity period, and cost budget. Identify links every agent to its creator, user, and owner so responsibility can be traced. Enforce checks behaviour against the contract and applies alerts, restrictions, or blocking based on risk. Measure tracks AI costs by model, agent, workflow, and owner to support budgeting and resource planning.
"Every leap in productivity creates the need for new management infrastructure," said Hu Min, Co-Founder and CEO of Eagle Cloud. "Whatever comes next, whether agents working across organisations or physical AI that can sense and act in the real world, it will need governance that matches what it is capable of. Eagle Cloud's long-term vision is for every organisation run by people and AI together to be built on verifiable trust."
Eagle Cloud serves more than 1,000 enterprises across over 20 industries and covers more than 5 million endpoints, with identity, endpoint, network, application, and data layers integrated on the Yunshu platform. Because AI agents connect to these same layers, the company said Yunshu AIDR can apply governance within an enterprise's existing architecture, reducing fragmentation and duplicated build-out.
Hong Kong serves as the company's base for international expansion. Eagle Cloud was among the first companies admitted to the Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park (HSITP) under its AI and Data Science track, and works with HSITP partners to reach markets in Southeast Asia and Central Asia. MTR Lab, which invests in deep tech companies in smart city and sustainability-related sectors, is expected to help Eagle Cloud deepen its presence in Hong Kong, Macau, and Southeast Asia.
"As AI continues to be integrated into enterprise business processes, demand for integrated cybersecurity governance capabilities continues to grow," said MTR Lab. "Through this investment, MTR Lab hopes to support Eagle Cloud in further enhancing its technology solutions and expanding its overseas service capabilities."
"Eagle Cloud has a clear first-mover advantage and a strong track record of innovation in this space," said Northern Light Venture Capital. "We believe it is well positioned to capture both the AI shift and the wave of Chinese enterprises expanding overseas, and to grow into a globally competitive company."
